1996 Mustang Parts

Although the 1996 Mustang looks the same as the previous year’s model, there were huge changes under the hood. Ford replaced the 5 liter V8 with a new 4.6 liter modular V8. They also switched out the T-5 transmission for Borg Warner’s T-45 in the V8 models. Despite the new equipment, many ‘96 Mustang owners choose to modify them both or swap them out entirely. No matter what projects you have planned, we have the parts you need.

Get more horsepower and torque out of your Mustang with a cold air intake and a tune. If you want power and a custom exhaust note, then combine the intake and tune with a cat-back exhaust kit or a new set of headers.

For track or performance driving, try upgrading your suspension with coilovers, aftermarket sway bars, or subframe connectors. They’ll stiffen up your chassis for more precise handling, and the coilovers will allow you to lower your Mustang for a more aggressive stance.

A new set of wheels or converting all your lights to LEDs are both quick ways to drastically change your Mustang’s looks. Other exterior mods like hood scoops, spoilers, stripes, and decals can also give your ride a custom style. Don’t forget to update your interior with new seats, a steering wheel, shifter, and floor mats. We also have headliner, carpeting, gauges, and other trim parts to help you restore your cabin.
