1997 Mustang Parts

The 1997 Mustang made the most of its new modular engine, and added a few small changes over the ‘96 model, making it a great year to own. Whether you’re replacing some worn-out parts or building a custom track car, we’ve got what you need to finish your project.

Boost horsepower and torque with a cold air intake and a tune. If you’re looking for more substantial hp gains, we carry V8 supercharger kits. To complement your engine mods, make sure you upgrade your exhaust system, too. New headers or a cat-back exhaust kit can increase horsepower even more while giving you a custom exhaust note.

It’s also a good idea to upgrade to better brake pads and rotors, or a big brake kit if you’re adding lots of power. They’ll help you stop faster, offsetting those power gains. If your suspension could use some upgrades, check out coilovers for better handling and the ability to lower your stance. Thicker sway bars and subframe supports can also help stiffen up your chassis for better handling.

To make your ‘97 Mustang stand out, try updating the exterior with a new hood, spoiler, or body kit. You can also make a big impact on style with a new set of wheels or by converting your lights to LEDs. Give your cabin an update with new seats, floor mats, a steering wheel, and a shifter.
