Air Conditioning Evaporator/ Heater Core Kit Mustang 1987-1993

This Air Conditioning Evaporator and Heater Core Kit is a direct replacement for worn factory components and is made to fit the 1987-1993 Mustang. The A/C evaporator core is the heart of you’re A/C system, using a refrigerant to cool the air that blows into your interior. This replacement evaporator core enhances functionality by eliminating weak airflow and unwanted odors from the system.

The heater core provided in the kit is designed to stop interior coolant leaks and increase heat output to the interior. Both the evaporator and heater core have been made to OEM specifications, and do not require any modifications to the Mustang to be installed.

Tech Tip: CJ Pony Parts recommends replacing the A/C accumulator or drier when the AC evaporator is replaced. The accumulator acts as a debris and moisture filter for the air conditioning system, so a new part will make sure your restored system will remain clean.
