Installing this cowl hood is easy as it re-uses your factory mounting points and original hardware. It also features a dual-sided cowl hood which also provides the maximum amount of clearance for any additional upgrades you might be looking to complete under the hood. This hood (AC-HD10FDMU-CJ) also has a glossy finish for a flashy look, although it is suggested to add an additional layer of UV-resistant clear coat so your brand new hood remains as sleek as it is now for the years to come. The mesh screen can also be removed and painted for an extra personalization.

PLEASE NOTE: Anderson Composites requires the use of heat shields with their hoods. If a customer chooses not to install a proper heat shield capable of withstanding ambient temperatures of up to 2000 degrees Fahrenheit, damages to the hood may occur and won’t be covered under Anderson Composites 6-month appearance guarantee.

Tech Tip:
- The manufacturer recommends the use of hood pins for safety reasons. This product is not recommended for use with gas shocks, dampers, or hood struts. Modifications may be necessary for correct fitment of the OEM windshield washer spray nozzles and fluid lines.
- It is highly recommended to use an automotive clear coat with UV inhibitors to prolong the life and finish of the hood.
