This high-performance Main Cap Side Bolt Kit from ARP is designed for your 1996-2005 GT, 1996-2004 Cobra or 2003-2004 Mach 1 Mustang with a Cast Iron M8 2-Bolt Block. These bolts are made in the USA and constructed out of 8740 chromoly steel and feature a 200,000 psi yield-strength rating. They are precision centerless-ground and thread-rolled to Mil-S-8879 specs, with a black oxide finish for corrosion resistance. This 10-piece kit comes complete with hardened washers.

Tech Tip: ARP recommends using the ARP Ultra-Torque Fastener Assembly Lubricant (CJ's Part # 1009910) as opposed to motor oil or other low quality lubricants. This is due to higher friction on the studs as well as inconsistencies in the clamping force of the fasteners when insufficient lubricants are used.
Please Note: While following the manufacturer's recommended torque sequence, tighten the nuts to the ARP recommended torque specifications using ARP Ultra-Torque Fastener Assembly Lubricant.
