Built for mass production, the early unibody design wasn't made to endure the stresses of performance use. This chassis stiffening kit comes with a wide variety of parts that will reinforce your classic. The kit includes an adjustable strut tower brace, Monte Carlo Bar, and bolt-on subframe connectors.

An adjustable strut tower brace will stiffen up the shock towers to maintain proper wheel alignment. Spherical bearings and strut tower mounting plates make this the stiffest possible brace for your car. Plus, the brace can be partially disassembled for easier access to the engine!

A Powder-Coated Black Curved Race Monte Carlo Bar (C5ZZ-16A052-BJB) provides extra support for the shock towers. It features a thicker diameter tube and improved fender brackets with Heim joints for smoother operation on your 1965-1966 Mustangs. It also uses stamped square holes in the top of each fender bracket to allow for the use of lower-profile carriage bolts.

Finally, bolt-on subframe connectors will tie the front and rear subframes together. While these subframe connectors are designed to bolt on, you can also weld them in place for a more permanent solution. By fixing the loose, disconnected chassis feel, your Mustang will take corners more predictably and sharply - and if you're more interested in drag racing, subframe connectors are essential for preventing chassis twist off the line.
