Chevrolet Performance 480HP 427 C.I. Big Block Crate Engine.

This engine (19331572) is made with lightweight aluminum cylinder heads on a rigid block. It also uses a 4-barrel carburetor an an all-forged rotating assembly. They hydraulic roller cam replaces a flat tappet cam design, enhancing performance for restomod and street vehicles.

Additional Notes:
- Due to crate fitment, the carburetor is shipped uninstalled and needs to be installed by an engine installer.
- Requires addition of starter and fuel pump (not included).
- Clutch linkage boss is now drilled and tapped. When using cast-iron exhaust manifolds, lower head bolts may need to be replaced with bolts with shorter heads for clearance.
- Requires addition of starter and fuel pump (not included).
- Comes with a 14" automatic transmission flexplate. Requires internally balanced flywheel for manual transmission applications.
- Not intended for marine applications.
- Distributor with melonized steel gear MUST be used with long-blocks and Partial engines with steel camshafts, or engine damage will occur.
