Detroit Speed's pair of subframe connectors feature a unique design that connects the front subframe of your classic Pony to the rear frame rails. The rear of the connector attaches Detroit Speed's torque boxes. Crafted from 1.5" x 2.5" x 0.083" wall rectangular steel tubing, these connectors are bent and TIG welded for a tailored fit for quality accuracy as well as repeatability. Installing Detroit Speed's subframe connectors makes your 1965-1970 Mustang more rigid and much stronger, allowing you to get a better suspension performance. The connectors include front frame rail saddles and end caps to make this upgrade process go smoothly.

Unlike others in the industry, these specific subframe connectors are hardly noticeable from under your Mustang, so you'll have a clean look and great ground clearance. Detroit Speeds' subframe connectors will not obstruct other areas such as seat attachment hardware or the installation and removal of the rear leaf spring pocket. Also, your Mustang's molded factory carpet will still fit over these connectors.
