This dual vacuum distributor fits vintage Fords with 351C and 429 engines, including 1968-1973 Mustangs. This distributor features a dual vacuum advance. It is a factory replacement for your 351 Cleveland or 429 V8 engine.

The Mustang distributor takes the electrical charge generated in the ignition coil and provided by several other parts, and routes that charge to the proper cylinder in your engine, where the air/fuel mixture can be ignited to power your classic Mustang's engine. This dual vacuum distributor uses an added vacuum canister to reduce emissions when not on the throttle.

Tech Tip: Dual vacuum distributors are different from single vacuum distributors. For best results, ensure you need a dual vacuum distributor before your purchase.
