This MSD distributor includes an iron gear and features a special compact aluminum housing that’s 5/8” smaller in diameter than factory Ford distributors, which ensures you’ll have more space in the front of your engine. The base of this distributor is CNC-machined billet aluminum and has a small-diameter cap that has HEI-style terminals and a race rotor with spark plug-style terminals. This distributor features a race-proven maintenance-free magnetic pickup and precision reluctor to deliver accurate trigger signals to your MSD ignition throughout your entire range of RPMs. MSD’s Pro-Billet Distributor has an easy-to-adjust mechanical advance mounted to the top of the shaft with the included advance springs and stop bushings. This distributor incorporates nylon pads that make sure smooth operation of the advance weights. This MSD distributor is C.A.R.B.E.O. approved.
