MSD installs a module that is built into the distributor, this helps produces a 7.5 amp single spark through the higher rpm range. The improved spark output results in quicker starts, better throttle response and ideal reliability. MSD properly places the mechanical advance assembly on top of the distributor making it easy to adjust the advance for your different driving styles.

When you purchase this distributor you will need to set the Rev Limiter, this is achieved with a factory tachometer or and aftermarket tachometer. With a built-in rev limiter will keep your engine safe from over-rev in the case of missed shifts or drive-line failure. The Distributor can adjust the Rev Limiter from 2,000 to 10,000 RPM.
