These Adjustable Sway Bar End Links from Drake Muscle Cars are designed to work with your stock bar, but will work with aftermarket bars as well. They have the same steel and billet construction with the red anodized center as the front ones do and allow us the same adjustability with the rear as well as being much stronger than the factory components.
For this installation today, lift or a jack and jack stands, a 3/8 ratchet, a 19 millimeter socket, six millimeter Allen key, 16 millimeter wrench, 17 millimeter wrench, and an 18 millimeter wrench.
Installation is pretty straightforward. You get the car up in the air, remove the wheel, and then we're gonna remove the end link back here. We need an Allen key to hold the stud in the middle and use a wrench to take them off.
For the top part, just be leery of this bracket here. It actually will separate once you remove the nut, so make sure you put it back in the same spot with the new end links.
What we're gonna do now is actually adjust the Drake one's so they match up with the stock ones. We're gonna go with that for our stock setup is to properly dial in these Rear Sway Bar End Links. You want to have the car loaded so it's suspension's on the ground. And again, the benefit here is you can adjust the pre-load on the bar and if you are going coil over and going pretty serious with car, you'll need these dialed in properly. Once their adjusted, we're ready to install them on the car.
All right we'll put this sway bar end link up into place and then install it with the provided hardware. We got to make sure the brake bracket's installed exactly as it was with the stock piece.
With the bolts tight, now we're gonna tighten up the jam nuts. All right, you wanna repeat the process on the other side, reinstall your wheels and your installation's finished.
The Drake Muscle Cars Rear End Links are the perfect complement to the fronts and allows us to down the geometry of the sway bar just like on the front. As far as the installation goes like we showed you, it's pretty straight forward. Should take you around an hour and be back on the road in no time.
