Upgrade your 1965-1970 Ford Mustang’s exhaust with this 2-1/4” Dual Exhaust Kit! Made to be a perfect match to your 289 or 302 engine, this kit comes equipped with everything you need to introduce the performance forward black Patriot Tri-Y headers and Street Flow Mufflers to your exhaust system. The Patriot Tri-Y headers will give your ride that distinct sound you’ve been looking for thanks to their miter cut and MIG welding. Included with these tough 18-gauge steel constructed headers are gaskets for the head and collector as well as reducers with 2-1/4” tubing. These headers also have the bonus of fitting all stock transmissions and clearing T5 transmissions.

Upon combining with the Patriot Tri-Y headers, the Street Flow chamber performance mufflers will give your car a vintage-style resonance. These mufflers have a 16-gauge aluminized steel construction and a premium silver powder coating that makes them both sturdy and heat resistant. Their 2-1/4” center-in and 2-1/4” offset-out configuration ensures these mufflers fit snugly into your exhaust system. All the rest of the exhaust tubing in this kit is made with a corrosion-resistant aluminized steel for a long-lasting fit that will push your Mustang’s performance to the limit.

Additional Notes:
- This exhaust kit will not work with staggered shocks.
- This exhaust kit will not fit GT-40P heads or AOD transmission.
- If your 1965-1970 Mustang has power steering, you may need to purchase the slave cylinder lowering bracket (SCB) to clear the long tube headers.
- Small modifications may be necessary to the equalizer bar and clutch rods for clearance on manual transmission vehicles.
