This is the biggest and baddest electric fan kit offered from Flex-A-Lite for the 5.0L Mustang. These Black Magic X-treme electric fans are designed to cover 45% more radiator surface area than the regular Black Magic fan.
This kit features a one piece, rugged nylon shroud which covers 90% of the radiator fins. This coupled with the 8-blade fan design delivers a whopping 3300 CFM of air flow. Your new fan kit also includes custom rigid mounting brackets that are 5.0L specific and mounting provisions for the factory overflow bottle.

An electric fan is a great choice if you're having problems cooling with your Fox Body. Not only is going to allow you to cool better because you control the temperature, which it turns on. It's going to be less drag on the motor which actually frees up some horsepower as well.
The Flex-A-Lite's Black Magic X-Treme kit comes with a fan with there shroud. As well as all necessary mounting brackets, an adjustable thermostat and all necessary wiring for installation. This is your fanning control unit here. The temperature probe is going to go under either your factory or aftermarket radiator, doesn't really matter. This will allow you to actually determine which temperature the fans going to turn on. While using the thermostat control is recommended, the fan can also be wired to run off a direct toggle switch.
