Gibson designed their Axle-Back Exhaust System for one thing: to provide the sound, performance, and appearance that your 2011-2012 GT500 or 2011-2014 GT Mustang deserves. A system 2-1/2” Stainless Steel piping opens up the pathways for the exhaust to travel, reducing back pressure on the engine, while 4” polished exhaust tips create an aggressive tone. Gibson’s Axle-Back design relieves pressure from the engine, increasing gas flow, as well as improving acceleration and horsepower.

The exhaust tone is tuned from the implementation of resonance chambers, directional louvered tuning ports, and angular induction that expels gases faster for a more efficient gas flow and a louder tone. The system includes factory-style mounts and bolt-on designs that simplify installation.
