This is the factory style grille horse and bracket but in a smoked chrome finish, I think it'll add a nice custom touch to the front of our 1996 Mystic Cobra. This'll be a direct replacement for the factory grille emblem in all 1994 through 1998 Mustangs, along with the 2003 through 2004 Mach 1 and any 1999 through 2004 Cobra.
The installation is very easy but there is one catch to it. These were meant to not be stolen. They figured it would be a common thing for people to steal the horses so they actually used camper proof Torx bits. So you will need a T25 tamper proof bit to remove the factory emblem. When you install the new emblem, there's a little notch here. See that's going to sit down in there. Then you lift it up and install the hardware. And there you go, that's all there is to it. Your installation's finished.
Now to me, that looks a lot better than the other emblem that was on there. The installation, as I said, is very, very simple to do, the only catch is you will need that tamper proof T25 Torx bit, but beyond that, it's a five minute install. You'll be back on the road in no time.
