Vehicle Fitment

This product will fit the following Mustang years:

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Blows like a hurricane This certainly met my overall goal: real heat in Colorado winters. My original motor was on its last leg and I wanted the air velocity of a modern car. However, it comes with the wrong connectors for a stock wiring harness. Go ahead and find some 16-14 gauge male bullet connectors and cut these off. I also had one of the four mounting bolts snap clean off with little effort on tightening. A mixture of improvement and disappointment.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good replacement. Couple of things, check wiring and wheel rotation before the motor is installed in the heater box as the wire color is different than stock. This came painted ready to install but without the thick donut gasket that mounts between the flange and firewall.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Bargain and Labor Saver I recently installed one of these units. It is labor saving in that you don't have to remove and reuse the squirrel cage fan impeller. Quite a time saver. If it was a little bit quieter at high speed, it would be a 5 star rating. Unbeatable value at this price point though.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Fits but doesn't look like the original It fit without any modification. But it is clearly not like the original. certainly not anywhere near concourse so if that is what you want, this is NOT it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not as advertised The unit I bought did NOT come with the mounting studs (as is advertised in the video and was formerly in the description. They told me it was a MISPRINT). So I never got the studs. Buyer beware and be prepared.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from My first one is a bust! I'm not sure if I received a defective unit or not. Blower worked fine during testing but after my first Drive it sounds terrible. I just emailed customer service to see what can be done to fix it

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bad motor I bought this for a 68 I was redoing and the bearing was bad and the first motor. I had to adjust the squirrel cage several times as well and the welded on flange didn't fit properly

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fitted the replacemen HBA367-68 W/O A/C HEATER BOX Motor assembly fitted without any clearance or catching issues. Looks to be of good quality although the connectors on the wiring need doing but this is an easy job.

I have a 66 with A/C (upgrade added when originally purchased). Can I still use this to replace the heat blower or do I need a different model?

Asked by: Keeblerkev
If you have an a/c that is under the middle of the dash than this would work, this will not work with factory a/c.

Will this work for 2 speed heater or can I change mine over to three speed heater ????

Asked by: MAV72
This will not work on with the 2 speed heater. You would have to change the switch, blower resistor and the wiring to change to a 3 speed.

Same question about wiring . Original wiring yellow and brown, new black and blue ? What hooks to what?

Asked by: Gumby69
The yellow goes to the resistor so that should hook up to the black and the brown is the power so that should go to the blue wire, if the motor spins in the wrong direction than reverse these wires.
