Heater Rebuild Kit 1965-1966

Product Description

Heater Rebuild Kit for 1965-1966 Mustangs.

Quickly replace your old heater and its components with an all-in-one heater rebuild kit. All components that normally need replaced in a classic Mustang are included in our kit. Once you install this heater rebuild kit, you'll be able to enjoy driving even on those chilly days.

Includes:
- Heater seal kit
- Scott Drake aluminum heater core
- Heater plenum
- Heater cable set
- Scott Drake defroster ducts (Includes four clips to mount both ducts)
- Scott Drake defroster hoses

Scott Drake's aluminum heater core is less prone to leaking than a brass/copper heater core and flows just as well. All heater box seals are included to make sure air blows where you want it to. The new heater plenum is stronger and more durable than the original to provide long lasting quality. Air is delivered from the plenum to the windshield with Scott Drake defroster ducts and hoses. Finishing off the kit is a heater cable set. Three cables handle the blower speed, temperature and defrost.

*Aluminum heater core requires removal or modification of the rubber end caps and the hose placement is slightly different

Heater Rebuild Kit 1965-1966 is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from heater kit this kit is incomplete the radiator is to thin to cover everything we need to add Scott Drake Heater Core End Caps Without Air Conditioning 1965-1968. to be sure the heater radiator doesn't move inside the heater box.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very prompt and good quality The heater kit was good quality and came with a diagram that was helpful and used the CJ Pony installation instructions It was a 5 hour job and had to replace the blower motor due to frayed wire

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good set Purchased about 2 weeks ago and have finished pitting the heater together, but still working on the sash so have not put it in the car yet.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good quality, good instructions Well worth the work. New core and padding in the heater box make it as good as or better than new. The plastic defroster plenum is a step up from the original pressed paper. four stars instead of five because I feel that the new padding on the sides of the diveter make it very difficult to install without hurting the heater box and would not adversely affect the operation should it be eliminated. The control cables are thinner than the OEM but work well.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not all usable The gaskets in the kit for box are too thick! I had to remove a few due to lack of clearance.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice kit I like that u can purchase everything in a kit, saves money and time.
