This J&L Oil Separator Company 3021F-B Black Anodized Front Side 3.0 Oil Separator Kit is made out of thick billet aluminum with a black anodized finish. Its newly redesigned tank means the canister will hold up to 3 oz. of fluids (as compared to the previous version, which only held 1 oz.). It's easy to install and features a multi-stage filter system. This filter system has a fine mesh stainless steel screen that captures fine oil vapors. When enough of these vapors collect and become heavy enough, they'll drop to an aluminum honeycomb filter where they eventually become bigger drops. When those drops are heavy enough, they'll fall to the bottom of the canister, which will prevent them from passing on to your Focus' intake system. When you're ready to dispose of the collected oil (recommended every 5,000-7,000 miles), simply unscrew the canister and empty it.
