J&L Oil Separator Company Clear Anodized Driver Side 3.0 V2 Oil Separator Kit for 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010 GT Mustangs.
During the process of venting crankcase pressure back through your intake track, large amounts of oil in the form of vapors can coat your blower rotors, intake valves, intercooler fins, and even dilute your gas lowering its octane level. This happens on all engines and is even worse when supercharged and turbocharged, as crankcase pressures are increased. To combat this, J&L Oil Separator Company has developed a Clear Anodized Driver Side 3.0 V2 Oil Separator Kit (3051D-C).

The J&L Oil Separator Company V2 separator is the same great oil separator without the OEM hose to save money. As OEM hoses continue to increase in price, J&L Oil Separator Company has taken initiative to now offer the V2 alternative with pre-assembled OEM-style quick connect fittings and hoses. This J&L Oil Separator Company Clear Anodized Driver Side 3.0 V2 Oil Separator Kit (3051D-C) will prove its durability time and time again, as it is milled from solid billet aluminum. It has a knurled tank base for easy removal to drain the spent oil and an O-ring seal to prevent any leaks.

Filtering consists of a fine mesh stainless steel screen that traps fine oil vapors and releases them once heavy enough to fall. They then pass through a 1/2" thick 1/16th" aluminum honeycomb filter where they grow larger and then fall into the bottom. By the time the oil gets through the filter, it's too heavy to be passed on into the intake. The tank holds 3 oz of fluid, and while that may not sound like a lot, you shouldn’t ever see that much oil in your PCV system. Drain the oil every 2000-3000 miles and you will never come close to filling it again.

- This item is not CARB (California Air Resource Board) exempt and is not legal for sale or use in the state of California.
- This oil separator kit (3051D-C) will NOT fit Mustangs with a supercharger with the exception of the Saleen Supercharger. Also, this oil separator will NOT fit GT Mustangs equipped with the Ford Performance Intake Manifold or any model equipped with aftermarket fuel rails.
- This J&L Oil Separator Company Performance 3.0 V2 Oil Separator Kit (3051D-C) will also fit the Driver Side of the following special models: 2008 Bullitt, 2005-2010 Saleen, 2006-2007 Shelby GT-H and the 2007-2008 Shelby GT.
