Tech Tip: Ford added an extra retainer along the bottom of 1999-2004 cars which changed the location of three 1994-1998 retainers. The manufacturer of this lower door seal kit added extra retainers to allow correct fitment in all 1994-2004 Mustangs. Customers will need to either pull out the extra retainers or drill new holes for them. 1994-1998 customers will easily pull out three extra retainers or drill three 3/16” holes while 1999-2004 customers will easily pull out two extra retainers or drill two 3/16” holes.
