Coyote Engine Swap Parts

The Coyote engine is a 5.0-liter V8 motor that's been used in the Mustang GT since 2011. The strong performance and classic V8 sound make it a popular choice for a Mustang crate engine swap. Whether you have a classic Mustang, Fox Body, SN95, or S197, you can switch your motor to get more power from your ride.

Once you’ve decided to drop a Coyote into your Mustang, be sure you have all the parts you’ll need. Most crate engine kits come with everything needed for the engine. But they don’t always include things like the vehicle harness and PCM.

You might also want to add performance spark plugs or other performance upgrades. You can top your engine off with a set of attractive coil covers and other underhood dress-up items.

If you don't want to do an engine swap but still want to increase horsepower, supercharging is the way to go. If you want something even easier, a plug-and-play tune programmer will do the trick.
