New 2026 Mustang Colors

Ford has announced two new additions to the color lineup for the 2026 model year.

Orange Fury Metallic Tri-coat

Exclusive to the 2025 Mustang GTD, Indulgent Blue was recently previewed at the Goodwood Festival of Speed where Ford took part in the famous hill climb event.

The first of the two new colors, Orange Fury Metallic Tri-coat is the bright pop that the 2026 Mustang color lineup was missing after the retirement of Yellow Splash. It's an impressive orange with a ton of depth that shines in direct sunlight.

If you're on the fence about Orange Fury Metallic Tri-coat, you need to see it in person. It's the perfect muscle car color that will turn heads wherever you go.

Adriatic Blue Metallic

Adriatic Blue Metallic is a nostalgia fever dream. This impressive teal color is reminiscent of the fan-favorite Cobra Teal found on the 1993 Mustang Cobra, but a little bit darker.

This brand-new color is a part of Ford's new FX Package for the 2026 Mustang. It features a ton of 80s-inspired cosmetic upgrades, but the Adriatic Blue Metallic paint stands out the most.

Molten Magenta Metallic Tinted Clearcoat

A popular option for the 2025 model year, Molten Magenta Metallic was brought back for 2026. Because it's a mixture of a few different colors, Molten Magenta Metallic Tinted Clearcoat is hard to pin down. It looks very red on the builder and in most promotional material. However, it seems to transform when hit with direct sunlight. The dominant red overtones take a backseat to a really impressive purple color. This is one of those colors that shines in-person.

Race Red

Race Red remains a staple in the Mustang lineup for 2026, and it is easy to see why it has become one of the most iconic Mustang colors. This vibrant, attention-grabbing red stands out anywhere. While it has a flat finish, Race Red is the only true red available for the 2026 Mustang.

Carbonized Gray Metallic

Carbonized Gray Metallic returns for the 2026 Mustang and continues to be a favorite among enthusiasts. This gunmetal-inspired shade complements the bold lines of the S650 Mustang perfectly. Ford has featured this color on accessories and trim pieces in recent years, and its popularity shows no signs of slowing down.

Iconic Silver Metallic

Iconic Silver returns for the 2026 Mustang as a versatile, easy-to-style neutral option. While it may not be the most exciting color in the lineup, its clean and understated look makes it a popular choice for EcoBoost and GT owners who prefer a more subtle appearance.

Vapor Blue Metallic

Vapor Blue Metallic, introduced in 2024 for the start of the S650 generation, returns for the 2026 Mustang. This bluish-gray shade stands out in the lineup by offering a subtle yet distinctive look. Vapor Blue Metallic gives enthusiasts a unique option beyond the usual grays, whites, and blacks.

Grabber Blue Metallic

Grabber Blue is one of the most legendary Mustang paint colors, and it continues to be offered for the 2026 model year. This updated version of Grabber Blue is brighter with a hint of metallic, giving it a modern twist while staying true to its bold roots.

If you want a head-turning color that sparks conversation and embodies classic Mustang energy, Grabber Blue is the perfect choice for your 2026 build.

Shadow Black

Shadow Black continues as Ford's primary black paint option for the 2026 Mustang. Also known as Absolute Black, this deep shade features subtle blue undertones and a pearlescent finish that gives it a premium look. Its metallic flake catches the light beautifully, making Shadow Black a great choice whether you keep your Mustang stock or add aftermarket upgrades.

Oxford White

Oxford White returns for the 2026 Mustang as a timeless and clean color option. While it may not carry the historic flair of Wimbledon White from the 60th Anniversary Mustang, Oxford White remains a popular choice for enthusiasts who want a classic and versatile look.

Its bright, crisp finish looks great on any trim level and is sure to be a common sight at car meets once 2026 Mustangs hit the streets.

Blue Ember Metallic

Blue Ember Metallic was introduced in 2024 as an exclusive color for the Mustang Dark Horse. This deep, dramatic blue quickly became a favorite thanks to its unique look. Unfortunately, Ford has dropped Blue Ember Metallic from the 2026 Mustang lineup, making 2025 models the last chance to get this striking color from the factory.

A Nice Variety for Year Three

2026 is shaping up to be a great year for the Mustang. This might be Ford's most balanced S650 color lineup yet as it has options for everyone. Plus, the two new colors, Orange Fury Metallic Tri-coat and Adriatic Blue Metallic are impressive and sure to be popular with enthusiasts.

While not as extensive as first year of the S650, the 2025 model year has plenty of impressive color options. It's sad to see interesting colors like Yellow Splash and Atlas Blue go, but Ford has done a good job of giving buyers a variety of options to choose from.
