Headlight and Taillight Greeting

One of the first things you'll notice on a 2024 Mustang GT Premium is the headlight and taillight greeting you get when disarming the car. After you disarm it, it will go through the sequential turn signals in both the front and rear. Then, it will flash a few times before remaining on.

This is a small touch, but it looks great and is a nice detail by Ford.

Easy Key Access

If you own an S550 Mustang, you know just how annoying it is to access the keyhole on the door of your ride. It's covered by a plastic trim piece that's hard to remove and prone to breakage. Luckily, Ford has gotten rid of the plastic cover on the S650 and left it completely uncovered and accessible.

The next time your key fob's battery dies, you won't have to worry about struggling to remove some arbitrary piece of plastic to drive your S650.

Mustang Heritage Details

The S650 generation is meant to be a celebration of the Mustang and everything it's become over the almost 60 years it's been in production. In recognition of that, Ford has hidden little easter eggs that honor the Mustang’s heritage all over the car.

If you pop open the hood and remove the stock airbox lid, you'll see the displacements of all the V8 engines that have ever come in the Mustang on the underside of it. This is a neat little touch that isn't immediately noticeable.

Next, Ford has included a ton of little accents all over the 2024 Mustang. If you look closely at the headlights, you can see the running pony icon inside. There are running pony accents on the windshield. Ford included the silhouettes of every Mustang generation along the bottom of the rear window. These little easter eggs are cool additions to the S650 Mustang that show Ford didn't skimp on the details.

Open Door Warning Sound

Open-door chimes can be incredibly annoying when working on your car. Ford has replaced the standard irritating beeping with a low, booming galloping noise. If you've opted for the Bang & Olufsen sound system, then it'll sound even cooler.

Wireless Engine Start and Rev

As is the case with many modern cars, Ford has included a remote start function on the key fob. This can be done by locking the car and then hitting the button directly below the lock button twice.

Ford took this remote start feature one step further. They've added a remote rev feature that's a ton of fun to mess around with and show to your friends. This can be done by clicking unlock and lock once. You should hear a quick rev to let you know that it's working. Then, hit unlock and lock again and it will give you three much louder revs.
