Steel Distributor Gear and Pin Kit for 1986, 1987, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994 and 1995 Mustangs with a 5.0L Engine.
Use this steel distributor gear with the hydraulic roller camshaft on your 1986-1995 Mustang with a 5.0L Engine. The gear is a stock replacement for this Mustang. The kit supplies the steel gear and pin.

The distributor gear may also be used on earlier Mustangs that have been upgraded to a hydraulic roller camshaft. Earlier Mustangs used cast iron distributor gears with flat tappet camshafts, so an upgrade will be necessary. If you are using an aftermarket camshaft, it's best to consult the company that made the camshaft to ensure the correct gear is used.
