National T5 Throwout Bearing Seal 1983-2004

This Throwout Bearing Seal from National surrounds the input shaft and seals it to the inside of the throwout bearing retainer on the T5 transmission. This seal is a perfect replacement for all 1983-1993 4-cylinder Mustangs, 1983-1995 V8 Mustangs and 1994-2004 V6 Mustangs that were sold stock with the T5 transmission in them. National's patented lay-down sealing lip design ensures a long life; in spite of extreme temperatures, shaft imperfections, incorrect shaft or bore alignments and excessive shaft thrust and movement.

This National Throwout Bearing Seal is a constructed from a nitrile composition and features a proprietary RediCoat sealant that assists in eliminating bore leakage. The housing bore measures 1.75" and will snugly and precisely fit around the input shaft. This is an important part to keep up to date and replace immediately when it begins to leak over time and wear. This new and improved seal will create and retain a solid connection and prevent any oil leakage from the T5 transmission.
