The timing chain cover is typically designed to seal the front of the 289, 302 or 351W engine block. Another benefit of the timing chain cover is its design to seal the timing gears and chain while lubricating the parts with engine oil. This cover is cast from high-quality aluminum and is a direct-fit replacement for all 289, 302 and 351W engines. This timing chain cover includes a cut-out for the mechanical fuel pump and the dipstick tube has been designed to work on the passenger side of the engine. The timing chain gaskets and seals are not included with CJ Classics timing chain cover.
