The control arms are constructed of mandrel-bent steel tubing, with the upper control arms having a 7/8 x .156” wall and the lower control arms having a 1 x .156” wall. This makes the control arms lightweight, yet still durable enough for daily performance driving. The heavy-duty balljoints feature a screw-in design, making replacement of a worn-out balljoint simple. To make installation and removal of the balljoints even simpler, a zinc-plated balljoint wrench is supplied.

High-strength sculpted ductile iron cast spindles give you excellent strength for reliable performance. With a 2” drop in ride height, these spindles provide your Mustang with a lower center of gravity and quicker camber curve that will improve your handling on curvy backroads or at the track. The spindle assembly is specially designed to handle the stress from more rigorous driving conditions.
The manual rack and pinion is constructed of billet aluminum with a satin finish, designed to fit left hand drive 1965-1970 Mustangs without power steering. It is comprised of three pieces: a billet aluminum rack body, sculpted aluminum gear box and stainless steel center tube that thread together at O-ring sealed joints to form a strong, lightweight assembly. The internal gearing of the rack is supported by low-friction polymer bushings and roller bearings that give gear engagement a smoother feel, increasing the longevity of the rack. OEM quality tie-rods with fixed-height pivot position are included with the kit, connecting the manual rack with the sculpted spindles.

The fixed factory-valved SensiSet Shock has gone through extensive dyno and road testing to offer optimum performance on the street and the occasional autocross event. The SensiSet shock was designed by Total Controls Products' sister company, VariShock. These shocks were custom made to Total Controls exact specifications for install height, travel, valving range and mounting configuration. American-made, VariShocks are constructed of premium components where each shock performs identically throughout the entire range of travel.
Designed to pair with the VariShock SensiSet shocks are a pair of springs that are rated for your small block Ford engine. These springs have been produced from a new high-tensile wire that is far superior to other springs. These new springs can fully compress without damaging the coil which could greatly affect the ride height and handling of your Mustang. Being more flexible than normal springs, these VariSprings allow for more travel of the shock without going solid, giving you better overall traction and control.
