Modern Driveline Hydraulic Clutch Master Cylinder Kit for 1967, 1968, 1969 and 1970 Mustangs with a T5 or TKO Transmission.
Switch out your stock style clutch master cylinder with this high quality hydraulic master cylinder kit. This kit will help reduce pedal effort while increasing pedal feel.
To get the proper pedal pressure and stroke the cylinder needed to be raised higher than the stock clutch rod linkage hole. Interference issues prevents this in many Mustangs. Secondly, if the cylinder was mounted through the existing clutch rod hole, the pedal pressure was excessive.
Please Note: This kit is designed to work with a hydraulic throw-out bearing.
The cylinder in this newly designed system is resized and optimized for this use. Its small size insures it will fit in the majority of applications. Mechanical linkage was added which makes it possible to use the clutch rod hole and provides mechanical advantage, thus reducing the pedal pressure required to operate the clutch. A remote fluid reservoir is included.
Modern Driveline was a company that was created out of a need, a need for classic Mustangs and other automobiles to be equipped with modern transmission and driveline equipment that would make driving a classic Mustang a more enjoyable experience for the non-performance driver. If you are looking to equip your classic coupe, fastback or convertible Mustang with a new piece of transmission equipment, or even a full T5 transmission conversion kit, CJ Pony Parts provides all the Modern Driveline equipment you could need.

Hi, You mentioned this will not work with a top load gearbox. Can you give a rewason why? I am running the slave cylinder on the input shaft and the effort to depress the clutch pedal is huge. Is the reason travel ratio? Greg
