Product Questions

The ball joints and dust boot retainer on my 66 mustang are pressed in. It appears that I would have to drill out the pressed fittings in order to remove the retainer and boot. Is that correct and would hardened bolts be used to reseat the joint?

Asked by: Fanus
Yes, you would have to drill or chisel the rivets out and definitely use grade 8 hardware.
