Motor Mount Solid Pair 5.0L 1979-1995

Product Description

Pair of Solid Motor Mounts for 1979-1995 5.0L Mustangs.

Eliminate costly engine flex and help plant that lost power to the ground with this pair of solid motor mounts. Solid motor mounts are great replacements for track inspired Mustangs that are producing big horsepower and don't get driven on a daily basis.

Factory motor mounts are designed to flex and reduce engine vibrations that can be felt inside the car. Under extreme torque from high horsepower engines, the factory mounts could fail or break.

Product Questions

I recently purchased a 1989 Mustang with a 5.0 engine and BBK cold air induction. It has BBK manifold but the mechanic said it's interfering with the power steering. Will these mounts solve that problem or should I buy new manifolds and if so which ones?

Asked by: Oscar8
I think a new CAI would solve your problem. Changing the motor mounts will not.

will this go on my 1975 f150 motor but also bolt into my 66 mustang

Asked by: bubbs66
I'd say that it's unlikely that it would work on either vehicle. It's designed to mount in the Fox chassis, which was modified somewhat for 1994-1995 Mustangs, but still could use the same mounts.
