Scott Drake Shelby Style Bare Steel Hood Prop Rod for all 1965-1968 Mustangs.

Are you replacing your factory metal hood with a lightweight fiberglass hood? If so, we highly recommend converting from original hood hinge springs to Scott Drakes Shelby style hood prop rod.

This Shelby style hood prop rod is a reproduction of the original used on early 1965 R-Model Shelby's and GT350s. It can be used on all 1965-1968 Mustangs. It's bare steel construction is just like the original and measures in at 30-1/2" long. Mounts on the front right corner of the radiator support.

*Must drill a hole for installation.
