Canton Racing Products Oil Pump Pick-Up Stud for 260, 289 or 302 Mustangs with a Rear Sump Oil Pan.
Use this Oil Pump Pick-Up Stud 20-950 for your 260, 289 or 302 Mustang with a Rear Sump Oil Pan. Manufactured by Canton Racing Products, this stud is perfect when used as a replacement main cap stud for original rear sump engines. In addition, it can be used when changing from a front sump pickup to a rear sump pickup.

Early or pre-1979 engines were designed with a front sump oil pan and a front-mounted oil pump. Later models use rear sump pans, which require a long pick-up tube running from the front-mounted pump to the rear of the pan. Front sump engines did not have this main cap stud.
