However, it's one inch deeper than the factory pan which makes it great for preventing oil starvation. The Front Sump Oil Pan is coated in an OE-style blue painted finish, giving it the look and durability of a high-quality reproduction. CJ Classics supplies you with an oil pump pickup tube through which your oil pump draws oil from the bottom of the pan. You'll also receive a pickup screen to protect the oil pump from large particles and contaminants that could otherwise inhibit flow and pressure, potentially causing your engine to seize.

For a leak-free seal, the included Ford Performance oil pan gasket should do the trick. This direct-fit gasket features a one-piece design with a steel core bonded to a rubber sealing material.
