Xtreme Energy camshafts are a best seller due to their excellent all-around performance in street applications. Increased responsiveness and more area under the curve are delivered due to quicker opening lobe profiles. More vacuum is created which allows a step up in duration for greater performance. COMP Cams roller rockers and matched valve springs work best with this camshaft. COMP Cams roller rockers and matched valve springs work best with these camshafts. Other performance parts are recommended and sometimes required (intake manifold, headers, etc.) for optimum performance.
The Xtreme Energy 268HR112 camshaft offers mild performance. A spring upgrade is needed and computer modifications may be required.

Are larger injectors required for this specific cam or would the cam still be efficient with the 19 pound stock injectors? and are 2" lowering springs a sufficient upgrade to the springs?
Larger injectors are not required but a spring upgrade is needed and computer modifications may be required. I would stick to one to one and a half lowering springs for street use.

That number is heavily determined by your other modifications and tuning. We can't put an exact figure on the camshaft by itself.
