It's been hard I've been looking for the right cams but I don't know what too get I have a 02 v6 and it's all modified what are cams for I know it's a stupid question but I really love the sound but performance???

Asked by: posz_oscar
Not only will it change the sound, but the cams control how long your intake and exhaust valves are open. This determines how much air is brought in, which determines how much fuel gets delivered and the exhaust side controls how efficient all that is burnt before it exits the car. The more air in = more fuel to burn. Cams can be a great performance modification.
