This GP-1 Conventional Break-In Oil Kit from Driven Racing Oil allows you to break in your 1965-1973 Mustang's engine by protecting the flat tappet, overhead, and roller cam engines at critical moments! This kit includes five (5) quarts of oil and a K&N Oil Filter to keep the engine clear of debris.

The oil in this USA-made kit from Driven Racing Oil is made using premium Pennsylvania Grade based oil that is mixed with High Zinc/low-detergent additives. No other ZDDP or break-in additives are required, as it's all combined into one mixture with a viscosity similar to SAE 30. This GP-1 oil promotes a proper piston ring seal to prevent your engine from burning oil, further preventing engine wear down the road.

The K&N Oil Filter in this kit features a resin-infused filter media with a cellulose material that offers maximum flow while keeping up to 99% of hazardous contaminants from entering the engine. Its design is meant to handle race applications with higher oil pressure, allowing it to do its job without overflowing. It also has a built-in anti-drain back valve that prevents oil from draining into the crankcase as the engine shuts down, eliminating dry starts. This filter also has thicker canister walls than normal filters and uses a heavy duty base plate with a double-rolled seal and pre-lubed base seal to truly make sure no pieces of debris enter the engine.
