Dynotech 3-1/2" One-Piece Aluminum Driveshaft for all 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2014 GT Mustangs.
Replace the weak factory two-piece driveshaft on your 2011-2014 GT Mustang with a high performance one-piece driveshaft from Dynotech. Benefit from improved acceleration, reduced unsprung weight and reduced driveline vibrations with Dynotech's high quality aluminum driveshaft. The Ford driveshaft weighs approximately 32 lbs but Dynotech's lightweight aluminum driveshaft weighs approximately 18 lbs which greatly reduces rotating mass. The RPM rating, or critical speed rating, of these driveshafts is approximately 8,700 RPM. This driveshaft has a horsepower rating of 900 to 1,000.
This Dynotech driveshaft is constructed from 6061 T-6 aluminum with a 0.125'' wall thickness and has a 3-1/2" diameter. Universal joints have clearances less than 0.002'' and driveshafts have less than 0.010'' runout. Dynotech balances all driveshafts to less than 0.20 ounces. By balancing driveshafts up to 8,000 RPM, Dynotech guarantees smooth operation throughout the entire RPM range. Dynotech uses an improved billet pinion flange which replaces the weakest part of the driveshaft. The billet pinion flange reduces weight by one pound, improves driveline runout and helps achieve better balance. Features over 4,000 ft-lbs static torque capability.

This 3 and a half inch diameter one piece aluminum driveshaft's direct replacement for the heavy 2 piece designed found on your 2011 through 2014 Mustang GT or Boss 302. It's made of 6061 T-6 aluminum and weighs only 18 pounds versus the factory 32 pound driveshaft. This will work with a manual or automatic transmission. Dynotech balances these to 8,000 RPM and are good to 900 to 1000 horsepower. Dynotech uses a billet plated flange to replace the commonly failed standard flange found in a normal driveshaft.
