Each gasket is made of EnCore HTX-900. This is a high-density, non-asbestos fiber/metal core composite material. To create these gaskets, Edelbrock has mechanically and chemically fused two graphite-coated, heat-resistant fiber blended sheets to an expanded steel core.
In case your header ever loses the necessary header bolt torque, not to worry! These gaskets feature a 50 percent recovery rate, allowing for gasket expansion in response to this.
