Classic F-100 pickups have an amazing look but often come with less than amazing engines. If you’ve decided to upgrade your F-100 with an LS engine, you’re in good company. LS engine swaps are a great way to bring modern power to a vintage truck.

To get your LS engine working with your Ford pickup, you’ll need several extra parts. It’s unlikely that any of the parts that bolted on to your old engine will fit your new LS. Even if they did, a restrictive intake manifold would keep you from getting the power you want.
