Set of Ford Racing High Performance Hydraulic Roller Lifters for 289, 302 and 351W Small Block Engines.
Ford Racing's Hydraulic High Performance Lifters (M-6500-R302H) are direct replacements for your Ford Small Block. Their unique internal design improves performance at higher RPMs and oil temperatures. Ford Racing dyno tests have shown a 200 to 300 RPM range increase over stock hydraulic roller lifters in Ford Racing sealed crate engines.

These lifters offer a distinct advantage over standard hydraulic lifters, especially in performance and race applications where a hydraulic lifter must be used. When engines are equipped with a hydraulic roller camshaft, high RPM is limited by the improper position of the internal piston, as the lifter inevitably "pumps up." This improper location results in broken valves and leads to lost power or sometimes even engine failure. These upgraded lifters are designed to overcome those weaknesses, making them effective at higher RPMs.
