We’re here with a custom Ford Performance timing cover fitting your supercharged 2011-2017 Mustang. One of the most popular installations we've done here at CJ's is the Ford Performance raft supercharger install we did on my 2015 Mustang GT. We were the first to really give you a detailed step by step on this process and the one step that made a lot of you cringe was grinding down the timing cover. If you have to do this installation, you actually have to grind it in three places, which made a lot of people really uncomfortable.

If you don't want to grind, Ford Performance offers this timing cover, which is already ground down for you. These three locations are pre-ground down for installation. When you do this in your factory car, you have to grind this smooth and grind this smooth. This one actually requires you to cut it in half and grind it, so that does intimidate some people. If you don't mind swapping out some bolts, you can actually swap out your timing cover for this one and not have to grind for the installation.
