7" LED Headlight Kit for all 1965, 1966, 1967, 1968, 1970, 1971, 1972 and 1973 Mustangs.

This kit has two lamps and two housings with reflectors for a nice classic appearance. The new lamps featured in this kit fit the H4 socket perfectly and have connecting tabs that fit all standard headlamps on vehicles with 7 inch sealed or semi-sealed lamps. These lamps extend approximately 1-1/2 inches past the back of the reflector and have a great fit and look on all 1965, 1966, 1967, 1968, 1970, 1972 and 1973 Mustangs.

Complete with two metal and glass 7 inch housings, two H4 24 Watt LED lamps with a new design that provides over 2400 Lumens per lamp and the necessary adaptors are included. The patented LED heat-sink design provides efficient LED cooling so that these awesome, high brightness LEDs can really discharge brilliant, clear light. With over 100 LEDs on each lamp, you get a great looking pure white light, not stale and yellow like the old incandescent bulbs.

Features:
- Two 100 LED H4 24 Watt Lamps
- Two Metal and Glass 7” Housings
- Adaptors
- Heat-Sink Design
- 2400 Lumens
- Lower Current Consumption
- Pure Intense White Light

These 7 inch housings fit all vehicles with 7 inch head lamp or fog lamp mounting designs. The versatile round beam pattern is perfect for auxiliary lights or fog lights and even headlights for show and classic cars! This custom heat-sink design provides far superior light output than other lamps and results in a much longer lamp life in all 1965, 1966, 1967, 1968, 1970, 1972 and 1973 Mustangs. The use of LEDs provides less horsepower drag and doesn't heat up your wiring like high the current halogen lamps do. Yet another added bonus is less stress to your alternator, as these lamps consume approximately 1/10 the current of older incandescent lamps.

Most classic cars have more than adequate space for the heat-sink and this kit has been tested with 1965-1968 and 1970-1973 Mustangs. This new design gives you far brighter light than the original incandescent lamps on older vehicles did. Now you have modern, vivid lights that fit and look perfect on your favorite pony car!

Please Note:This LED headlight kit will NOT work in 1969 Mustangs.

*Designed to DOT standards, but not DOT listed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best LED Lights These are mustang project dot com lights. They don't state so on the website as CJ is a reseller of them it appears, but these lights are far superior than more expensive brands. You can find more details on their website direct, if needed. It doesn't state so, but these lights are at a rating in the 5k-6k range and are a true bright white. Install was smooth and just plug and play. All the plug ins can fit nicely behind the front of the bucket and the light housing fits snug into the bucket itself. These are by far the best out there and have a great price because of who makes them so look more into it and you won't regret going with these over the more expensive ones

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worthwhile upgrade Love the lights, much brighter than stock, and the light is a better color of white. I was happy that you can't really tell the bulbs are led, they look stock, except front of bulb is not as round. Simple to install. The light assemblies don't require any additional wiring, plug and play. They look great on my resto mod 65.

The lights housings appear to be glass, not polycarbonate. My concern is stone breakage and high replacement cost

There is no mounting kit available to mount these lights into a 65 grille, it would have to be custom made.

I have an 1964 1/2 mustang. I know, really a 1965. Will these fit without any alterations? Will it work with existing wiring as far as running the cure through the headlight switch?
