When pressure from the crankcase vents, it travels through the intake track where oil can collect in the intake tube, intake manifold runners, and even dilute your gas, causing a decrease in octane. With forced induction motors such as the supercharged V8 in the GT500, this buildup of oil is worse due to the increase of crankcase pressure. To prevent unwanted pressure, the J&L Oil Separator Company Clear Anodized Passenger Side 3.0 Oil Separator Kit increases capacity to three fluid ounces.

The multi-stage filter system features a fine mesh stainless steel screen to capture fine oil vapors. Once the vapors collect and become heavy enough, they then drop to a 1/2” thick 1/16th” aluminum honeycomb filter where they become larger drops. The drops become heavier until they fall to the bottom of the canister, preventing the oil vapors from passing on into the intake system.

A knurled tank base allows for easy disposal of the collected oil, while an O-ring keeps the seal tight to prevent leaks. J&L Oil Separator Co. designs and builds its products in the USA to be a direct-fit upgrade and a plug-and-play install.
