An X-Pipe, unlike H-Pipes, creates a venturi effect that allows exhaust gases to escape quicker. This improves the overall throttle response in your 1965-1973 Mustang's 289 or 302 engine and noticeably increases horsepower. The 409 Stainless Steel X-Pipe from JBA is a standalone upgrade for exhaust systems, and will properly connect 1650 series headers and/or EFI headers. The necessary O2 sensor provisions are included in the construction, for aftermarket systems that require emissions sensors.
