Vehicle Fitment

This product will fit the following Mustang years:

Rated 1 out of 5 by from does not fit This speaker does not fit the dash studs on a 67 mustang. The screw holes on the speaker are an inch wider than the studs in the dash, furthermore the flanges that stick out prevent the speaker from fitting in the space allotted for the speaker in the dash. I don't recommend this as a replacement for the factory speaker

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 72 Mustang Just had to "woller out" the hole on one side just a little to allow the screw to tap. Added washers to secure. Sounds perfect with my 300 watt stereo. Nice to have sound side to side.

Will this fit my '68 convertible Mustang exactly where the factory original speaker mounted? Some comments say you have to use the defroster duct connection points, and others say you have to tweak the size of the hole in the speaker.
