This keyless entry remote is a direct replacement for your original that worked with your Mustang that came equipped with keyless entry from the factory. This fob has a four-button design that includes a lock & unlock buttons for your doors, allowing you to control your locks from a distance. This remote also has a trunk unlock button so you can easily pop your trunk hatch, as well as a panic alarm button for you to sound if you need it.

*This remote MUST be programmed to your specific Mustang.

Step-by-Step Programming Instructions:

1. Turn ignition from OFF to RUN 8 times within 10 seconds, with the 8th time ending in RUN. Door locks will cycle to confirm programming mode.
2. Within 20 seconds press any button on the original keyless remote. Door locks will cycle to confirm programming.
3. Within 20 seconds, press any button on the second keyless remote. Door locks will cycle again to confirm programming.
4. Turn ignition to OFF. Locks will again cycle to indicate the end of programming mode.

Please Note: This keyless entry remote will NOT work if your Mustang is equipped with a factory remote start.
