These Lokar Firewall Mounted Stainless Dipsticks for all Mustangs with a Case Fill C4 Automatic Transmission are great upgrades or replacements for old, damaged or missing ones. The outer housing is constructed from braided stainless steel and the flexible inner dipstick measuring cable is heat-resistant and has easy to read, molded markings at the appropriate transmission fluid levels.

The Midnight Series finish is nearly entirely black, save for the the bottom part that pushes in to the trans case and provides a sleek, shimmer to your engine bay. The Silver finish is entirely composed of brushed billet and stainless steel, so it is flashy and adds pop!

This transmission tube is a firewall mount style and is the most versatile type. This is recommended to use when there is little room to spare in the engine compartment as it can be mounted on the firewall or anywhere else in the engine compartment you desire, or wherever you can fit it. Route the 24” dipstick tube assembly to the desired mounting spot and install the mounting bracket using two screws of your choice. This push-in style dipstick requires just a slight lubrication of the o-rings and then it slides into the opening on the transmission case easily. This style dipstick only works with a case fill C4 automatic transmission.

For the Ford C4 case fill transmissions, the dipstick tube assembly must be positioned so that the longest flat side of the transmission tube fitting is towards the transmission case in order for it to be installed properly.
