Your Mustang's stock brake proportioning valve must be removed or disabled whenever an adjustable proportioning valve is installed. There are two ways to do so: remove the stock valve with a Brake Proportioning Valve Eliminator Kit (MMBAK6), or disable the stock valve by removing the internals and replacing the stock valve's cap with this plug (MM-2450-A) from Maximum Motorsports.
Features and Benefits:
- Safe disabling of the stock proportioning valve
- Alternative when MM's Brake Proportioning Valve Eliminator Kit (MMBAK6) doesn't fit
- Precision-machined solid plug
- Threads into the stock proportioning valve
This plug is an easy way to disable your OEM proportioning valve. Using an aftermarket proportioning valve gives you more freedom to tune your brake distribution. This will give your Mustang better handling and versatility.
