Maximum Motorsports K-Member Package With 10" 275lb Springs For Use With Koni Struts Mustang 5.0L 1979-1989

The Maximum Motorsports K-Member Package is designed to completely replace all the factory suspension components on the front end of your 1979-1989 Mustang. The K-Member package will improve suspension geometry while also reducing the front end weight (40lbs.-Plus Over Stock Components). The Factory Front Suspension Components are heavy and were not setup for handling. All the Maximum Motorsports Parts are proudly manufactured in the USA!

With tubular steel construction, the Maximum Motorsports K-Member is 26% lighter than the factory K-Member, and significantly stronger. This stiff K-Member design will prevent flexing, to improve steering response and handling. Motor mounts can be positioned in the stock location or 1" rearward for weight distribution.

The Front Lower Control Arm Mounts are shifted 0.75” straight forward to increase positive caster and move the center of gravity slightly rearward for improved weight distribution. Maximum Motorsports gussets critical areas on the arms to prevent fracturing. Maximum Motorsports assembles the control arms with OEM low-friction ball joints. The Front Lower Control Arms will improve steering response and enjoy better control of dynamic alignment through less deflection with Urethane pivot bushings. The Reverse-Offset Front Lower Control Arms will move the ball-joint rearward, along the centerline of the Mustang. These Front Control Arms will maintain the stock fore/aft tire location when installed with an MM k-member.

The Front Coilover Kit includes Threaded Sleeves that will only work on Koni Front Struts. The kit comes with 10” 275lb-rate springs. These springs are great for Mustangs that see heavy street use and entry-level performance handling at the track. This kit allows you to adjust the ride height, so you can dial in your stance easily with the included tool. Maximum Motorsports includes all the necessary components to completely install Front Coil Overs on your 1979-1989 Mustang.
